FSB 2015 – from 27^th to 30^th October 2015

For the traditional biennial event FSB Cologne, the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) has chosen a floor made in Italy, the well-known PORTABLE FLOOR model Bormio manufactured by Seicom.

All FIBA Village exhibition spaces have been remodeled, new exhibiting location in Koelnmesse Hall 7 too, and Black the color chosen by FIBA to represent Fiba Village 2015. All main companies Partners of FIBA  Equipe & Venue have been hosted within Fiba Village. Right in center, portable floor Bormio hosted athletes taking part to small competitions, animators involving people in challenges, gadgets for everybody: a real success for Portable Floor Bormio made by Seicom.

Seicom was present with a booth within Fiba Village area, where all customers & visitors have been welcomed to see new Seicom installations worldwide, 2016 news; all visitors have received the gift of the nice basket ball offered by Seicom to kids.

A portable floor model BORMIO was also installed in the stand BODET on a surface of 100 m2. Bodet is a well-known French manufacturer of scoreboards, clocks and sports accessories. This yellow and black colored floor was highly appreciated and has enhanced the booth, making it warmer & coordinated with the big floor on FIBA main court.

It was 450 m2 portable floor model Bormio totally installed for FSB 2015, a great job for Seicom, who supervised installation and assistance with own Staff during all event.

Several are the references with model Bormio, which confirms to be more and more an international floor. In 1999 it was supplied for FIBA FINAL FOUR – OLYMPIAHALLE MUNICH (GERMANY) and in 2014 for Athens Olympic Games. More recently, in 2014, for Saratov Russia – first division VTB League – as well as for African Union Sports Council (two portable floors in Zimbabwe). More references are in Hungary, Romania, Uruguay etc.

SPORT FLOORING Model TRENTO SOLID

Seicom increases the offer for parquet solutions for gyms and sports facilities.

Model TRENTO Solid comes from a constant research to find always new practical, useful and cheap options.

The new sports parquet floor model Trento Solid is the ideal solution for both school and multi-sport gyms; quality and durability are granted by a great solid wood marked Seicom.

Here are the main features:

• Solid hevea Parquet thickness 14 mm pre-lacquered through UV technology

• Continuous plywood under structure

• Elastic mattress on the whole surface

The sport facility Cappelli Sforza is well known within Milan but it's also a reference to gymnastic in Lombardia; the sport hall has hosted both national and international competitions.

When it was built - back in 1962 - it was one of the most modern facilities in Europe for largeness and equipment.

In 1962 CONI built two facilities specifically for gymnastic on city ground: one assigned to the male section and the other one to the female section. But for no reason the President of FGI Regional Committee cav. Amleto Ghislandi decide to give up one of the two. Do the gymnastic sport hall was dedicated to cav.Cappelli magnate of gymnastics, while the other one was dedicated to the magnate of basketball Mr. Sforza.

The municipal sport facility includes two indoor gyms differently equipped. Built in 1962, it's located nearby Lampugnano swimming pool. It's managed by city of Milan; the most popular sports in this plant are gymnastics, volleyball and basketball on parquet. It covers an area of 5.200 sq m and includes a fully equipped gym for gymnastics, one gym with standard size sport parquet for basketball and volleyball. The historical Society C.A.GI Milano 1963 is located in the facility, promoting artistic and rhythmic gymnastics, Coni bronze star for sporting merit and Coni Center, FGI affiliated (www.cagi-ginnastica-milano.com). Also present is Polisportiva Garegnano (www.polisportivagaregnano.it), Coni affiliated for basketball and volleyball.

Sports Parquet Floor Accessories 

Sports: artistic gymnastics (male and female) and rhythmic gymnastics (female), acrosport, trampoline, tumbling, volleyball, basketball.

Courses: for kids (as from 5/6 years) and teenagers gymnastics, mini-basketball and volleyball (managed by several sport clubs).

Equipment: two sport halls (20 x 40 meters): one multi-purpose (volleyball court and basketball court with sports parquet floor) and one equipped for gymnastics.

Extra activities: Gym Camp.

Please note: basketball and volleyball sport clubs in Milan and C.A.Gi gymnastics often use the facility.
