New
rules for FIBA certified products
As
from 2015 FIBA sports parquet floors will be safer and more guaranteed.
As
from 1st January 2015 all FIBA certified products must be covered with liability
insurance policy for a value not lower than 3.000.000 CHF.
Only
Companies in possession of this insurance will sign the new contract and will
therefore be FIBA certified for the period 2015 – 2016.
This
further standard will definitely certify safer products recommended by FIBA for
sports facilities. In 2012 SEICOM had already signed a liability insurance
policy and a products insurance policy with ALLIANZ , who works on international
level.
The
"Products liability insurance policy" signed by Seicom covers all civil
risks that may occur due to damage or subsidence of the sports parquet floor due
to manufacture defects.
